Course Catalog Depaul - Students will enhance their analytical skills by using basic economic concepts to examine current domestic and international issues. Students will engage with and examine experiences and perspectives of historically racialized groups and develop critical perspectives on racism. This 2 quarter hour course is designed to develop a learning community for transfer students and/or students who desire to advance academic skills and knowledge through professional writing, metacognitive study strategies, critical thinking and reading, and research and technology. At least sophomore standing is a prerequisite for this course. The goal is for students to gain an appreciation of how economics can be used to understand the world. Students will be placed on a project focused on an ongoing human rights violation. Students can complete only one course numbered lsp 200.
